About Bo Arts LLC

Custodians of
cultural continuity.

An independent firm dedicated to the business of art — bringing financial discipline to cultural assets while honoring what makes them more than assets.

Why we exist

Two worlds that rarely speak the same language.

The Bank of Arts is the advisory practice of Bo Arts LLC. We exist because the art world and the financial world operate by different logics — and the cost of that gap falls on galleries, collectors, and the institutions that preserve our shared cultural legacy.

We translate between the two: financial rigor applied to cultural assets, and genuine fluency in the art market applied to financial decisions. Every engagement is led personally by a principal, held in confidence, and measured by your outcomes.

The name

Why "bank"?

The word entered finance on a bench — the banco of Renaissance Italy, where dealers in money sat a few streets from the workshops of the painters they financed. Banking and patronage grew up together; discipline on one side of the street, beauty on the other. Our name is a claim on that lineage: the discipline, the discretion, and the long custody of trust — placed in service of art.

We use the name formally as well as fondly — THE BANK OF ARTS® is a registered trademark used under license by Bo Arts LLC. And we are equally clear about what it does not mean: Bo Arts LLC is not a bank, holds no deposits, and claims no charter. The "bank" is a standard of conduct, not a license.
